Our PromiseOur Warranty
We build custom closets and custom cabinets to last — and we stand behind them. Every system we install comes with a lifetime warranty on the system itself — panels, shelving, drawers, rods and hardware, for as long as you own your home — plus a one-year guarantee on our installation workmanship. And when life happens, we can order matching replacement parts to keep your closet looking its best.
A lifetime warranty on the system, one year on the workmanship
Your warranty has two parts. First, the system itself is warranted for life: if a panel, cabinet box, door, drawer box or drawer front, shelf, rod, bracket, hinge, slide or other component we supplied fails under normal use because of a defect in materials or manufacturing, we repair or replace it for as long as you own your home. Second, we guarantee our installation workmanship to be free from defects for one (1) year from the date of installation — if something we installed isn't right, we'll come make it right.
The same lifetime warranty covers our custom cabinets — kitchens, bathroom vanities, laundry and mudroom cabinetry, hutches and media walls — box, door, drawer and hardware, for as long as you own your home.
Covered under the lifetime system warranty, under normal use:
- Delamination or separation of the melamine surface or board
- Panels or shelves that warp or fail under normal use
- Cabinet boxes, doors or drawer fronts that warp, delaminate or fail under normal use
- Defective soft-close hinges, drawer slides or other hardware
- Rod brackets or mounting hardware that fail because of a defect
- Workmanship issues with our installation (first year)
Replacement parts for everything else
Life happens — kids, moves, and the occasional overloaded shelf. When damage isn't a manufacturer defect (accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear over many years), we've still got you covered. We can order matching replacement parts so your system keeps looking like the day it went in. Replacement parts are billed at our cost and installation at our regular service rate — just reach out and we'll put together a quote.

Service & labor
If a component fails because of a covered defect, the replacement part is free — for life. Installation and service on covered warranty work are included during the first year; after that, a standard service-call fee covers the trip and labor to fit the part. Non-defect repairs, replacement parts for accidental damage, and any changes you'd like are quoted at our regular rates.
The fine print
- Coverage extends to the original homeowner and is not transferable to a new owner if the home is sold.
- It applies to systems designed, built and installed by National Closet Company.
- The system warranty runs for as long as the original homeowner owns the home; our workmanship guarantee runs one (1) year from installation. After the first year, a standard service-call fee covers labor and the trip for any warranty part installation.
- Natural variation in laminate or wood-grain finishes, and expected wear from everyday use, are not considered defects.
How to make a warranty claim
It's simple. Call or text us at 629-298-8241 or email hello@nationalclosetco.com and let us know what's going on — a few photos help us sort it out fast. If it's a covered defect, we'll take care of the repair or replacement. If it isn't, we'll quote replacement parts so you're never stuck.
Warranty terms & limitation of liability
Limited warranty. The Company warrants the closet and storage system components it supplies (panels, shelving, drawer boxes, rods, brackets, hinges, slides and hardware) against defects in materials and manufacturing for as long as the original Customer owns the home, and warrants its installation workmanship to be free from defects for one (1) year from the date of installation. During the first year, covered repairs and replacement parts are provided at no charge; after the first year, replacement parts for covered defects remain free of charge and a standard service-call fee covers the trip and labor to install them. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, misuse, abuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, alteration, relocation, water or fire damage, or work performed by anyone other than the Company, and it is not transferable. This is the sole and exclusive remedy of the Customer.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of the Company arising out of or related to this Agreement, whether in contract, warranty, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the total contract price actually paid by the Customer. In no event shall the Company be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost time, or damage to personal property. The Company disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in this Agreement, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
